GRANT SUCCESS WITH THE WINTER SUPPORT FUND

Transom Trust have received a grant from the Winter Support Fund, which awards grants to locally based not-for-profit organisations working to support people most affected by cost-of-living issues. The Trust wants to give A BIG THANKS to the Sussex Community Foundation who run the Winter Support Fund. The Sussex Community Foundation are a charity that: raises funds and makes grants to other local charities and community groups across the whole of Sussex; and who have raised over £46 million to support Sussex communities since 2006. Transom Trust are very much looking forward to using the grant to help: continue to provide high quality support and accommodation for adult males experiencing homelessness in the Hastings, St Leonards and Bexhill areas; and to continue to employ our Operations Manager. This is at a time when the Trust have recently expanded their supported housing provision in Bexhill, while they also plan to develop an additional part-time role to assist and develop the financial life of our charity.
